Altira Macau attains the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating
It has just been confirmed that Altira Macau and Altira Spa will both be honored the coveted Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award for 2010 at the ceremony held in New York City on 9 November. This prestigious award recognizes the exceptional services and facilities of Altira and distinguishes the property amongst the absolute best in the world.
The Forbes Travel Guide (formerly known as Mobil Travel Guide) is seen as the most respected authority in judging hospitality excellence. In sports terms, it is the Olympics of the hospitality industry. The Forbes rating system is an incognito audit, where a designated inspector visits a property to conduct a comprehensive and detailed service evaluation.
This certificate of achievement for Altira is a testament to the quality and commitment of the hotel’s employees. It represents each individual’s effort and the level of personalization in their work.
It is important to note that only 5 properties are awarded the Five-Star rating in Asia for 2009. For 2010, Altira Macau is the only addition to this list, along with 5 Five-Star Awards. Until now there are only 15 properties worldwide that are rated Five-star for both categories of lodging and spa.
